Brazilian evenings - Montreal (11)
OBA offers you to relax and have fun during a Brazilian evening.
We open our doors to you in Montreal in the Aude department, near Carcassonne, Limoux and Castelnaudary.
A rewarding experience
The musical diversity of Brazil is made up of many rhythms and styles: the traditional samba, bossa nova - a cross between samba and jazz, a new musical wave that appeared in Rio de Janeiro in the 1950s -, forró - a traditional rhythm from the north-east of Brazil - chorinho - a style of popular and instrumental music that was born in the 19th century -, not to mention traditional songs and lullabies that are often inspired by the country's rich folklore and indigenous cultures, and much more! We invite you to share our love of popular Brazilian music.
You will find well-known tunes; many famous French and American singers have covered or been inspired by Brazilian songs, including Claude Nougaro and Franck Sinatra. But above all, you will discover the richness and extraordinary musicality of the various regions of this immense country, with its multiple influences, Portuguese to African, that Brazilian musicians have integrated into their exceptional creativity and sensitivity.
Local artists are warmly welcomed to express their style and share their art.
